Wanted to take a moment and share some results that you don’t see all that often on the blogosphere.  Now that the new build is done and stable, I ran through the worst case scenario – 3D Mark Vantage with 3D enabled at High Settings (I can’t run Extreme because my 3 panels are 1680×1050 and Extreme requires 1080P).  The data I had for the old system was with PPU enabled (which takes a huge burden off of the CPU), so I ran the new system that way also.  It is interesting to note that the new system actually still beat the old one even with PPU disabled (and increased load on the CPU).  Results with PPU disabled for the new system were 24000.  Here is how the two systems stack up:
